Shop Physical Appearance and Student/Teacher Interactions

In his story “Liking What You See: A Documentary,” Ted Chiang narrates the events which take place on a college campus when many of the students who are enrolled there take a drug that shuts down their ability to judge whether other people are attractive or unattractive. For the first time in history, people interact on the basis of character, not on the basis of appearance.
